Today India makes history as ISRO sends record 104 satellites in one go using PSLV and breaks Russia's record. One of the satellite is high resolution Cartosat-2 series made especially to monitor activities of Pakistan and China.
The Indian Space Research Organisation has successfully launched it's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) early morning February 15th 2017 at 03:58 UTC. The rocket carried as the primary payload the Cartosat-2D reconnaissance satellite for the Indian Government. ISRO also launched the ISRO Nanosatellite 1A and 1B payloads as well as a further 101 cubesats giving a total of 104 satellites to be launched on one rocket at once.
