The space agency hopes the new generation will inspire a mission to Mars
If you have ever wanted to become an astronaut then your dream may finally come true after NASA announced it was accepting applications for people to go into space.
The agency revealed it would be accepting forms from anyone wanting to become an astronaut from mid-December as it seeks to inspire the next generation of stargazers and scientists.
Going into space is often the dream for many young boys and girls and NASA has now revealed what you need to do to get yourself to the front of the queue.
British hopefuls could see their hopes dashed as the space agency is asking that applicants be US citizens.
