NASA launched a new satellite into orbit Wednesday, hoping the technology will allow the space agency to see the Earth breathing. Technology on board the OCO-2 satellite lets carbon dioxide be measured on a global level, instead of by piecing together data from multiple sources as is currently done. RT's Ameera David has more details on how the system works and why it is so important.
