Cut grass replaces cut throat at the Lawn Mower Racing World Championships in West Sussex. Drivers accumulated points over a weekend of racing, with 16 races in each of the four groups of mowers. All the blades have to be removed before racing, with only minor modifications allowed to engines.
New boy and ex-Moto X racer Andy Saywell from Dorset beat World Champion Mike Cresswell in Group 2, while in the group 3 race, defending champion Dean Fuller saw off the opposition for his fourth World title. Report by Louise Hulland.
