This freebie succesfully replicates Konami's 1980s shoot-'em-up game of the same name. Anyone who ever played the original Contra at the arcade or on a Nintendo will find this version to be a walk down memory lane. As in the classic, you control a guerrilla warrior who must navigate platforms in different worlds, picking up power-ups and blowing away enemy troops. However, unlike the original, this iteration doesn't offer a two-player version. Still, you do get some degree of user customization. For instance, you can reconfigure the control keys, choose from a few difficulty levels, and adjust the volume.
