Cool Timer's easy-to-understand interface can be programmed to count down from any number of hours, minutes, and seconds you specify. Once the time is up, it will play a MP3, WAV, or MIDI file of your choice. This app's feature set is by no means gigantic, but we really liked the tool for customizing the color scheme of the timer's background, LCD, and buttons. The main window can also be resized to a larger view. Cool Timer's focus is certainly very narrow, but folks seeking an attractive, simple, and free stopwatch program will find it a suitable choice.
