Scientists have spotted a giant hole in the Sun. This coronal hole is unlike the ones previously spotted in the sun. For starters, the gap is located in the Sun's equator, not the poles. It also does not help that the hole has surfaced at a very usual phase in the Sun's activity cycle. What does this mean for us? Should earthlings be worried?
