Scientists at Argentina's National Institute of Agricultural Technology have come up with a novel way of harvesting cows' innate ability to produce methane. By plumbing pipes and pumps into the stomachs of living animals, they've begun collecting the gases inside, purifying and storing them in a bag on the animal's back for later use as fuel in cars or for other uses.
