Guests entering the Hotel de Glace in Quebec, Canada, are sure to get a chilly reception, but it is to be expected in a palatial building constructed entirely out of ice. The magical castle-like lodge is built each year with a new themed design out of hundred of thousands of tons of ice and snow. When the frosty hotel opened its doors last month, kicking off it 13th season, guests were stunned by the wondrous icy architecture. This year's theme was inspired by Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, focusing on the natural beauty of the winter season.
