Almost 400 meters in length, 30 meters in height and weighing 1.5 million tons – this is the world’s largest human form sculpted into the landscape. It’s been constructed in the UK and is about to open to public.
The large scale project features the sculpture of a naked woman hewn into the Northumberland landscape at a cost of $4.7 million. It took two years to build at the site of what was once England’s biggest colliery.
The sculpture has been constructed from the waste left after years of coal mining.
